This explores the use of squid ring teeth (SRT) proteins to create innovative materials for orthopaedic applications. This research focuses on improving the mechanical properties and durability of bone cement, by using the unique self-healing abilities of these proteins. The aim is to develop a solution that improves the longevity and reliability of orthopaedic implants, contributing to better patient outcomes and advancing biomaterial use in bioengineering.
